Project Background
DAol.in, a new platform for data analytics education, needed a compelling landing page to convert traffic from organic search and paid ads. My role was to design and build an intuitive, conversion-focused landing page in Framer that would effectively engage users and guide them towards registration.
Process
Research & Goals
Target Audience: Primarily students and professionals interested in data analytics courses.
Competitive Analysis: I analyzed popular online learning landing pages to identify best practices for layout, visual appeal, and conversion paths.
User Interviews: Through interviews with 8 potential users, I learned that users preferred straightforward information about the courses, social proof (testimonials), and a clear call to action.
Key Goals:
High engagement and clear navigation for general visitors.
Customized paths for ad-driven visitors, each optimized for unique conversion actions.
User Flow & Landing Page Structure
To maximize conversions, I mapped out two primary user flows:
General Landing Page: This page serves as the main entry point for organic traffic, showcasing DAol.in’s unique value with a professional design, course highlights, testimonials, and a clear CTA to explore courses.
Ad-Specific Landing Pages:
Webinar Registration Flow: Ad-click users land on a dedicated page featuring a course overview and a WebinarJam registration form for signing up. After registering, users receive automated email notifications and WhatsApp reminders through integrated WATI.
Direct Payment Flow: In this flow, users land on a page with an introductory 25-minute video. After watching, users are encouraged to make a direct payment to enroll, bypassing the registration step.
Development in Framer
Framer’s integrated design-to-development environment allowed me to build a responsive, interactive experience. I also implemented subtle animations for CTAs, enhancing user engagement.
Automation Integrations:
WebinarJam & WATI: Automated emails and WhatsApp messages were set up to remind users about upcoming webinars, ensuring higher attendance rates and reducing drop-off.
Payment Process: Simplified checkout flow on the direct payment page to minimize friction and enhance conversion.
Outcomes
The landing page successfully increased engagement and conversions in the first month post-launch:
Webinar Registration Conversions: 40% of ad-driven visitors completed the WebinarJam form, with high attendance due to the automated notifications.
Direct Payment Conversions: 25% of visitors who watched the 25-minute video proceeded to make a direct payment.
Overall Engagement: Time on page increased by 35%, and exit rates decreased significantly.
Conclusion
Designing DAOL.in’s landing pages was a valuable experience in crafting user-centered, high-conversion flows. By focusing on targeted user paths whether through organic traffic or ad-driven campaign I created an intuitive experience that led to strong engagement and conversion rates. Integrating tools like WebinarJam and WATI added seamless, automated touches that kept users engaged and reduced drop-offs. This project reinforced how thoughtful design paired with smart automation can make a real difference in user experience and business outcomes.
